Recently we have completed some maintenance projects aimed at improving the cleanliness and overall health of our lakes. The algae growth on hole#11 of the North Course has been addressed, as well as the tall reeds and other plant material on hole#5 of the South Course.
Some of you may have noticed the yellow patches in the rough on the North Course. We have been actively spraying out the kikuyugrass, a very aggressive weed that can quickly take over large areas if it is not controlled. Eradicating this plant will allow for healthy, more desirable turf to develop.
