We are pleased to inform you that two major projects currently in the planning stages are expected to begin in the near future.
#15 Green- North Course
The heavy rains and flooding in past years have gradually deteriorated the creek wall in front of the green. As a result, the surface is now perched on the edge and susceptible to erosion and collapse should another event take place that causes the creek to swell. A plan is now in place to move the green back approximately 20 yds. while also adding more square footage.
Tee Box Leveling
As the tees age they can become smaller and uneven in spots. We have identified the tees with the greatest immediate need for improvement. These will be addressed by "laser leveling" the surfaces and expanding them. This will take place on certain holes of both golf courses.
Our hope is to begin both projects sometime in September and we will keep you updated as more specific information becomes available.
