Construction- Week 4

We just hit our 4 week mark on our project, and as of today we have all fairways sodded except for 12 & 14.  Those will be completed the first part of next week.  In addition, we have re-sodded the collars on holes 1,18,17,16 & 14 as well as re-captured pin positions on greens 1,2,3 & 4.  We are re-wiring the 12th hole irrigation and starting the demolition of the greens complex.  We also continue to aerify the roughs and convert them to pure bermuda, and have started to designate more areas that will be converted into "native" areas (as we completed on holes 10 & 18 last year).  In the next week we are also going to work on squaring tee boxes (instead of circular tee boxes) and getting them lined up with the fairways.

This is the view from the blue tee on #17 as the hole used to play.  Notice the big oak tree is in the center of the hole with  little room for a landing area.

With the re-design of the landing area on #17, we are going to shift the tees so that this will be the view from the new teeing area.  It allows a 25 yard wide fairway that is receptive to tee shots.
