Spring Has Arrived

Wednesday marked the official start of Spring, and we kicked it off with the first day of the MGA Spring Classic.  The golf course maintenance team worked diligently to get both courses recovered from aerification and in great shape for the tournament.  However, they can't let their guard down right now as in the next four weeks we will also prepare the golf courses for Ladies Team Play, MGA Senior Club Championship, WGA Club Championship, and the MGA Guest Day.  There is a ton of work behind the scenes that makes the golf courses shine for these events.   

The golf committee has reviewed and approved our design concepts for the North Course project this year.  Designs are now posted in the clubhouse if you'd like to check them out.  It's going to be a very exciting year and there are a lot of great projects going on!

In the upcoming week our team will be continuing work on the riparian areas on North holes 1 & 18, changing out all of our annual color on the property, verticutting greens, installing new irrigation heads on the North and trying to keep up with all of the grass growth.
