Rain and Course Updates

We had a little more than a half inch of rain last night, and there is still another quarter of an inch of rain expected the remainder of the day today.  As of right now, the South creek crossings are not passable, so the South Course will be closed.  The North Course is open on paths only.  The range is closed.  We will continue to update as the weather progresses today.

In addition to the weather update, I also wanted to share a project the staff worked on yesterday.  We re-sodded the collar and green surround on #12 South.  The area around that green was extremely damaged by the coots this winter, and we wanted to get the grass back into good condition as the coots are starting to leave.  They finished laying sod right before the rain started!

Also, as a reminder, next week we will be aerifying the driving range.  This process will help improve turf health as we start Spring and all of the events that are coming in March and April.  The range will be mats and the East tee will also be available for grass use.
