New Bunker Maintenance

Sand is compacted along edges to keep balls from plugging in faces

Crew moves sand in bunkers to have more consistent sand depth

Finished product
Frank Tedescucci, our superintendent of the North Course, has developed a new way for our staff to rake bunkers.  The new style uses different tools to keep the faces of the bunkers smooth and compact.  The result of this change will be reduced (if not eliminated) plugging of balls in the face, less damage to the liner and more consistent sand coverage.  We are excited about this change and hope that it will improve playability in the bunkers.  Please let us know if you have any feedback.
